When Taylor was but a teenager, she was a rising star in the metal rave clubs of the day. Her tail was a centerpiece of attraction for many fans of her music. Although she was not the lead singer, being just a supporting guitarist and back-up vocals, many came to see the uniqueness of her tail. Much of the audience thought it was some sort of high-tech animatronics or special effects that created its gyrating motions and mouth as it played instruments almost as well as Taylor did. Very rare that any of her fans discovered that it was all real and Ahya was a integral part of her body.

Much later in life, she got the chance to come back to perform for an audience again. Surprisingly they welcomed her with open arms, the majority yet again, not realizing that her tail was not fake and instead cheering for the novelty factor of it all. Coming back after years being away from the crazy, hectic metal scene was an eye-opener for Taylor. She could now handle the fame, press and attention and managed stress infinitely better than when she was a teenager. Some mornings after a concert, she would bask in the early morning light with a nice cup of coffee.
