Taylor knew that she could no longer live in the city when certain folks began tracking her down, not just for her special abilities, but also for who she was and the role she played in just being born. Escaping through the wilderness, she made her way through life for a few years as a tracker and hunter - a disreputable profession by some castes of mammals in the big city, but she had little choice but to make do with the talents she had and fashion a living out in the wild; taking jobs where she could so she could keep clothes on her back and food in her belly. She became quite good and adept at her job and tracked down many a bounty, taking them out easily with both her skills and her tail, Ahya; sometimes losing a target or two to it's appetite which required her to pay back the bounty money she would be getting if the commissioner required the target to be alive. A tough time for Taylor, but she grew strong and confident during these years of hardship.
