This is my first submission at weasyl.com and I hope that I can start a successful future with that.

This guy is a Fur'Li (Furlizard, shortcut definitely inspired by "James Cameron's: Avatar"), but maybe just consider him as a dragon if it is too complicated for you. Yes, it's an own species, but yet it is a rather not individual one. They mostly live in caves and in the woods, are bound to nature, but yet they are pretty much civilized. They are a peaceful mammal species (still kind of lizards or dragons). They can fight well and in danger they will defend every innocent creature from evil purposes. Fur'lis want to keep nature and its species alive, even humans (if they found a person badly injured they would nurse them through their illness), although they do not really like them for their ignorant behaviour towards nature in general. Still, many of them made friends with humans. Their philosophy is kinda similar to the indians' one (native Americans). It's a very peaceful and respectful species taking only as much as they need, but there are also "black sheeps" among them, let's just call them criminals. They are patroling in their area and guarding the borders against intruders who mean harm to them 24/7, and it's such a situation on the picture.

There is a big problem with drawing backgrounds as these often do not fit, because I first draw the character, almost always just a single one. But I am happy with this background and picture at all as I created it from a sketch that actually should keep being a sketch. Please tell me what could be worth improving. But anyway, I hope you like it! ^^
