One of the first pieces of media that helped nudge me into the furry fandom was the comic Dreamkeepers by David and LIz Lillie. Dreamkeepers is a graphic novel saga that takes place in the dreamworld, where characters known as "Dreamkeepers" live parallel lives to our own, except that there are these nasty evil creatures called Nightmares and they have special abilities called "powers" which were granted to them to fight the nightmare. It's a really great story that I could never hope to do justice to here. You should totally check it out.

And of course, if our fursonas are representations of ourselves, many furries naturally conclude that our dreamkeeper is our fursona, so Dante would be mine. For the record, I never have discovered just what Dante's "power" would be. I wanted to find it out through lucid dreaming myself, but I've never been able to succeed. Still, I suppose Dante can do handstands in the dreamworld, so here he is doing just that with the flaming moon in the background. It's essentially what I saw when I actually did get my own dreams to take me to the "dreamworld" in my head via a crazy flight. Even though I only saw the moon, it was an amazing experience that I had to put into digital ink, which I did... here :).
