They called those mountains, The Dragon's Tail! A apt name, Dante felt, as the ridge was narrow and littered with boulders, like the scales, so that, at a distance, they surely looked like the tail of some giant scalie! He had climbed since the daylight broke, but yet, he still had so far left to go and only a couple of hours of daylight left! Exausted, he stumbled along, peering up at the distance and wondering if he was almost to the peek or just approaching another hill in the endless rolling waves. The mountain was FAR bigger then he ever imagined... and far more perilous!

One mistep later and the earth did not meet his paws!

He yelped out as he fell head over heels down into some dark cave that opened up to swallow him! Any moment he expected to splatter against the sharp teeth of the rocks below... but instead... he landed with an umph... on something soft... and covered in... Scales?

Dante looked about in confusion that soon cleared up, as evident by his face, his mouth agape in horror and disbelief. The funniest thing was, the dragon seemed just as surprised to him as he was to see the dragon! Also... shinies!
