Payas is a honey badger warrior monk named after the hindi rice pudding dish of the same name. He tends to use the holy weapon as his weapon of choice, but can utilize the others also. His forehead is marked with tilaka paint and he wears a sheepskin vest. Havent decided how to do his hair yet or if he should wear a turban

About Payas:

Payas is found meditating beneath a waterfall by the rest of the party. If hes selected as the char of choice by the player then his journey begins here as opposed to being discovered within the game by someone else. The bastard of a wealthy noble, Payas was raised by his mentor and taught various fighting styles as a form of esoteric yoga. While usually not being apt to violent tendency, the infernal presence of the enemy and the main villain is sensed by him and due to his obligation as a preserver he's forced to leave his practice and put an end to them for the sake of the rest of the world. Hes a mute who talks using sign and miming/gesture. In the game he's the fastest male character that can be chosen and sort of akin to Ax Battler for being one of the main chars. His speed is noticeably faster than either Bootstrap or Smythe and he can jump higher and further than most of the chars due to abnormally strong legs, which unlike the other chars he tends to rely on for his primary signature move. Instead of flight he can sort of do a Crouching Tiger speed run of sorts and relies on Kalaripayattu. Because of his isolation hes shy and nervous around most people since his only focus for years was in training and meditation. While his attack power is weaker he can actually do more damage for the sheer number of hits he lands in rapid succession However, despite joining the fellowship he's somewhat of an aloof sort. only Kit manages to make any headway communicating with him, mainly due to the fact she's the only one patient enough to try
