About one third of the way through the first module of my course, I got up to working on constructive drawing- (observing objects, breaking them down into their shapes, looking at how they go together, and re-drawing them from a different angle).
The instructor used a fire hydrant, but I'm a bit more of an advanced student, so I did something with a few more curves.
To my utter surprise, this turned out a lot better than I thought!
