This was getting to be too much.
Mia had a tendency to adopt the small and cute people which struck her fancy, figuratively and literally,
but Butter was a little worried now that she kept seeing new (though helpful and productive, or otherwise charming) faces.
Her significantly taller friend knew how to pick 'em... But she didn't know how to stop.

Minerva was great, of course, especially after they figured out how to train her to control her powers. But soon new friends
of hers followed- Sparky, Daisy... A couple others? She wasn't keeping track so well...
Then there was Louise, which was the first time she thought something was amiss. The tiny teen was welcome, but somehow both
she and Mia had forgotten to some extent that she had family to go back to. She had that sorted out quickly.
Then it was Kit and Jade and their entorage. A brief stay, but Butter could tell she would have kept them all if she could have.
They gained the strange centaur-snow leopard Aloene and Guldmaster Ledaya- Two inevitable additions,
An actual dragon and quite a few faeries from The Tomeatorium, plus for a brief period of time a synthetic intelligence as old
as the 7th eon, and then some hole-dwelling creature that called himself "Hurman" (well that one they really couldn't get rid of and were
okay with simply not trying).

At this point, it was clear that both Butter and Mia, and probably the rest of the ship, knew Mia had a problem.
Mia also did not want to solve the problem.
There was precious little the rest could do against a multiple-black-belt force of nature with a sweet demeanor and a penchant for
being nurturing besides, But one has to wonder-
Wait...

That's that "pokemon" she was hugging earlier. What's she on the ship for?
Was Butter seeing things? Or is Mia hiding another cute critter from her until it was too late?
Are her adoptees putting her up to this?!
