The prideful lion-like race Leux.

The Leux lives in Midland, a country far away from the other species's countries. These cats prides themselves of their warfare and zealotry of their one god, Jahvod.

The leux have beautiful buildings made of marbles, churches and cathedrals. The men sees themselves in high regard even though it's the women who works the hardest amongst them.

No one knows when Jahvodism really started, but the earliest documented history of it tells of a nameless slave of an evil king who once saw a sign in the sky. Two big stars shining on atop each others.

It's also said that he got a message from the two stars, saying that it's called Jahvod, and that it could only contact him by crossing two stars together.

He told the slave that he was chosen to rule his people and that glory will come to the Leux if he became the ruler of the land and got its people to pray to it as their one and only god.

The slave, inspired by the mystical god got inspired. He then escaped the evil kings clutches and rallied other slaves and pheasants to usurp the evil king.

When the battle was over so did the people decide to make the slave their new king, but he just wanted to be Jahvod's messenger.

But a compromise was held, he was made a king so that his bloodline would be the one ruling, and also became the first highpriest so that he could preach about Jahvod's power. His name became Leonis Augustius Rex.

You had hoped that they would unite Midland in peace with the teachings of their god right? That is true, but after King Leonis death, so did the Leux take on more warlike methods to spread their religion. Much to the dismay of the bishops.

They also built ships and went on to discover a new continent where several different intelligent species lived. They got to know that one of the countries in the continent is named Mahin, and it's in civil war due to the death of their empress.

Words spread quickly to the Midland capital. The generals decided that it was a good idea to conquer the land to make it "better", while the bishops wanted to just spread the words of Jahvod to the "uncivilized" countries. They asked the king, Cappaldi Deus Rex about what they would do with the new country.

Cappaldi was very old and had his own problems with his family and the whole of Midland. So he didn't have time for anything outside his reach. So he simply told the generals and bishops to do what they will with the newly discovered continent, as long as it makes the people happy.

So the best generals and the most visionary bishops took sail so that they might try to make the other countries "better".
