A first attempt at realizing on paper a creature I literally dreamed up last night. They're a near-future genetically engineered set of beings with cybernetic components. However, they are essentially mental vegetables as they're intended to be used as telepresence vessels for humans, basically serving as alternate bodies.

The one(s) I dreamed of were supposed to be like sapient police dogs hence why my first concept drawing is so doggy in appearance. It still doesn't match what I remember, though. It doesn't look large and lanky enough, the tail isn't long enough, and the body is too dog-like. But this works for an Inquetober entry.

There's likely a mix of animals in there. It's just heavily doggy in this first pass since the character(s) in the dream were specifically in the role of a sapient police dog and this seemed like a good starting point. Refining the concept would likely take more cues from kangaroos, rodents, and undoubtedly other animals.

Reminds me of a kangaroo more than a dog... or about 50/50 I would say. Great work, I've always been fascinated with dream entities and this whole entire concept sounds quite interesting.
