I love those Bar and Grill / Advertising / Promotional shirts from local restaurants. Their illustrative qualities, the characters, and the way they can appeal to so many people. I’ve always wanted to do my own version. This features a character I’ve drawn several times and I thought she’d be a great ‘mascot’ for an ancient Egyptian styled eatery.

It was really hard to color too. I’m so used to shading and blending it was a real challenge to do this in a ‘silk screen / cell shade’ type technique but I’m so very happy with how it came out.
