my AU is kind of a mouthful to explain but basically Zovaal (and Nameless) is let out of the Maw but most of his power is taken away so he’s mortal-sized and grouchy and trying to chase the maw’s cold out of his bones. He can and will find the warmest place or person in the area and gravitate there.

Unlucky for Bolvar, he IS the warmest entity around. So much for not attracting unwanted attention.
