Okay, so as my first pic I'm going to leave the one I did most recently. The featuring character is my OC called Yuan (believe me, you'll see him quite a lot) and he's one of my oldest and most beloved babies.
Sometimes I like to draw super stylized pictures like this one, not caring too much about proportions and stuff. I like doing these now and then mostly to relax and have fun, but i must admit maybe this one came out a little bit too awkward ehehehe.
I might or might not add a uh... character page for Yuan here, I haven't decided. Maybe i should because I tend to draw this guy quite often lol, but I'm still thinking about it.
Anyway, this is my first pic in this place. Hope you like it :3

Aya, as usual, is a pleasure for me to get comments from you, sob. I really apreciate them and I'm happy that the message I was intending to put in here really went through like this (you got the ribbons part just right). Trees are still a little bit of a challenge but i've been not doing trees for a long time i think i need to start practicing them more again XD

I told you when we first started talking that I love your artwork and I don't say I love anything unless I REALLY love it so you better believe I enjoy everything you draw. Even the little quick sketchy things. <3
I need to do more backgrounds so I can draw more full pictures rather than just single things all the time. I need to practice my animals too. XD
When I saw this piece last night I immediately thought of Lucele and Eijyr with him and that's what made me think it was like someone was removing his ribbons.

There is really something charming about this piece. I still can't put my finger on it, but the first thing my eyes are drawn to is definitely Yuan and the way his hair flows against the tree and how his little ribbons unravel from his arms and legs. It looks elegant somehow, as if there is someone there meticulously unraveling them with care.. or something like that.
I notice the tree second. I have never been that great at trees but the tree came out really nice. You didn't use a generic straight tree and gave it many gnarls and twists. It's like one of those trees you find in the middle of the woods, where it's unlike any of the ones around it and has a kind of creepy feel. Or the type of tree which can look like a monster at night. I just really like how you did it.
Yuan looks very dainty in this and it's fitting of him even if you said the proportions are off. I won't lie, they are but you weren't going for that and that's perfectly fine.
