A little mod I have been planning on for a long time. After the failure that was trying to paint my Joy-Cons purple, and ruining the shells, I got a replacement shell set to give it that classic atomic purple that we may remember from the N64, GameBoy Color, and GameBoy Advance. Figures it would suit me, purple is best after all.

I also rewrote the firmware on the Joy-Cons so the Switch sees them as purple, that took some time and a bit to get them the color I wanted for them. Rewriting the firmware is risky as if you screw up, you basically ruined your Joy-Cons and these things are not cheap by any means.
