Xorotos are mainly built for speed. Their powerful hind legs can launch them into great leaps over 30 feet. Their colorful crests fold down normally, but unfold when alarmed, displaying a threat (guarding territory, mates or offspring), or during a mating dance (only displayed by males who have more colorful crests). They have sharp claws and teeth and are omnivores. They'll eat anything they can catch...with their great speed, their menu is quite vast.

Size: Males 7.5-8' tall, 17-20' long
Females 6-7' tall, 16-18' long

Colors: Come in all colors (white, black, red, blue, and albino are VERY rare), Their bodies are often dark in color and their crests are bright. Males have beautiful, bright crests that usually have unique patterns and colors. These are used to impress females. They can have stripes, spots or banded markings along their back. Some males have spines, but this is rare and this usually means he is more dominant.
