• In what world did I possibly think we could get along?

I always enjoy associating my characters to a vast variety of different things. Animals, colours, zodiacs, shapes and body parts, instruments and food, it can be anything really. It pins down complex traits into an icon that’s easy to remember and easy to get back to. It also helps me to elaborate an idea.

The rib cage stand for a lot of things for my character Zlatomir; His destructive eating habits, the sternum looks like a tie, a protective shell for lungs he intoxicate with smoke and ashes not only to calm his nerves, but as an act of self harm as well. The fractured ribs was only the start of the worst episode of his life.
