A new coiffure for Kyllikki. Done entirely with pencils and pens on watercolor paper.

She's beautiful! I love your textures, they're rich and you also have a unique style to them. I recognize Kyllikki is a FInnish name. Any story behind that? :)

Thank you Mohrne! I tend to gravitate towards Finnish names for her world just because they sound neat to me and fit nicely with the cold northyness of her home region. Kyllikki in particular was chosen as the meaning (woman of strength) suits her physically and mentally.

Thanks for the reply! I agree, it's a very fitting name for such a character, very happy to see them being used. Even for a modern speaker of the language such old names sound quite mystical and thus powerful. Got me curious to see more of her world!

Excellent! That's wonderful! :) I've always been a little curious how different a name which is foreign to me would sound to someone who's familiar with the language. I'm glad there's still a mystical feel with the classics.
