This is a very personal piece, but I figured I would share it.
My little sister asked me to design a tattoo for her in memory of our father who passed away a few weeks ago. It was something I really felt I needed to do in order to help her and myself cope with the loss of our dad. So this was the design I came up with.

I miss my father a lot, as I was pretty much raised by only him. I was a big time daddy's girl. He did everything he could to help his kids, and his hard working nature was always something I looked up to. If you ever wondered where my workaholic side came from, it came from him.

I know I'll always miss him, and it still hurts that he's gone. But I'm relieved he's no longer in pain.
