Chestnut covered his mouth, trying to quiet his heavy, painful breath. the teen couldn’t run for much longer, his lungs burned, and his legs felt like jelly.

“F-fuck-”

Chestnut mumbled, looking around, desperate for a way out. his eyes lit up when he spied the slope down into the snowy forest. Kuri carefully edged down the slope and into the woods, trying to be careful with his footing, but also trying to avoid staying in one place for too long.

Chestnut squeaked when he lost his footing and tumbled down into the snow, an intense pain shooting up his leg, one he assumed was caused by him tripping on a rock and spraining his ankle or something, until he looked down and saw the metal clamped around his leg, the sharp teeth of it sunk into his flesh and causing him to bleed.

“A-a-a...” Chestnut started to mumble, shaking as he watched his blood stained the snow around him. “A beartrap?” Kuri reached his glove covered hands down towards the thing around his leg, trying to pry it off with numb fingers, tears trailing down the teen’s face as he wrenched at the trap.

“Oh, my dear! look what we have here!”

Chestnut froze, looking up at the couple suddenly towering over him, smiles plastered on both of their faces.

“I say! quite a scrawny one this time, my dearest Magnolia!”

The man said, delight lacing his voice. “Oh, my darling Alastor! I told you not many would be through at this time of year!” the woman giggled, leaning further into who Kuri assumed was her husband.

“Um...excuse me?” Chestnut piped up, interrupting the couple who were laughing amongst themselves, stopping cold when he spoke. “c-can one of you help me out here?”

“Oh, don’t you worry,” the man said, his eerie smile growing. “we’ll help you.”

So, may I introduce you to another AU? this is Horror Movie AU, the idea is characters cover classic horror movie roles, thus Horror Movie AU

Chestnut is younger than normal, late/middling teens during this part, and ended up bumping into Alastor and Magnolia while running from the police, and the three of them make up cannibal family when they adopt him, which they do when they find out why he was out there (he got cheated on, he killed and consumed his boyfriend and the cheating partner) and the fact that he shares their "particular diet quirk" they take him in, he's their son

I've just been working on this particular aspect of this AU for way too long, I don't really know what to do with everyone else

I didn't look up how beartraps on legs work, mainly because I was scared of, you know, actually getting pictures of that, so I didn't draw from reference, and I know it looks wrong
