Lyna ran a comb through her boyfriend’s hair, looking worriedly over at his face when he didn’t respond, the man barely even moving. “Shota, talk to me, please.”

Aizawa sighed and his shoulders hunched, turning slightly so he wasn’t looking Lyna in the eyes.

“Sweetheart, talk to me,” Lyna plead, placing down the comb and gathering up Aizawa’s dark hair in her hands, pulling the strands together so she could put them up. “I know that face, that’s the face of a man who is not okay. it wasn’t your fault, Shota. you did the best you could.”

Aizawa tensed at that, shaking his head slightly, careful to not knock Lyna’s hand’s away.

“I was in charge, they were in my care, it was completely my fault, butterfly.”

Phia mentioned this a long while ago when I was having a really hard time, Lyna doing Aizawa's hair up for the press conference after Bakugo is kidnapped
