My friends and my AUs usually come for one random thought or another tbh, this one is Pay's AU, but I think it stems from Magnolia and Angel being best friends, so what if Magnolia also worked for Valentino, I think? but I've have AUs that are just "oh! what if this?" before, just random ideas XD

Ohh ye xD A lot of my AUs tend to be mostly personality differences but I do from time to time get some good ideas from other themes. These days the 2 most recent ones I made were just from an old fandom but with a different story to fit the OC x Canon for HH xD

I get that! sometimes I do random AUs that turn into whole other things just because I wanted one idea, like I wanted an AU to focus on one character I wasn't using enough...it turned into a vampire AU XD

(Geez, it's been too long since I actually looked at this. I haven't been in a good place lately, ugh.)
I just grab at random ideas, modern au for anything not set in this world, fantasy au for anything that is, etc. etc. but my friends have actual ideas and stories to work with, it's amazing.
I've been getting really into Genshin Impact lately, and those characters are quite a task for me to draw. especially the characters I really like, Zhongli and Venti is my favorite ship, I love them a lot, but just...their outfits are a nightmare a lot of the time.

It's really pretty! I got Venti in the newest event and I'm saving for Zhongli (who is honestly the one character I actually want, he can destroy stone shields and it's amazing) I wanted Venti for the updraft he can make, but I'm also slowly working my way towards a team of gods, I have Ganyu and Venti currently, who are both godly beings~
Oh! BNHA! good stuff! I love it! my friend Phia has been getting really into it so I got back into it, that being said Aizawa has been the love of my life for a long time at this point XD-

I honestly simp way too many characters from BNHA but even harder on Hawks (Keigo) these days lol. And 2 of my friends for the longest time have been trying to get me to simp Dabi but it has been a battle cuz I'm like NOHHH xD But judging from today's events, they might be winning TwT-

It's an enjoyable game! I'm just waiting for the update that's coming in a few days now, and Zhongli's getting a rerun, I've saved up over 50 tries at the gacha for him, but he's only really guaranteed for 180 tries.
I currently main Ninggaung, Kaeya, and Qiqi besides my traveler/player character~
My friend Phia and I have been marathoning it to get our friend Ren into it recently! we just got to season three, they surprisingly at least to me really like Dabi and Allmight, I've loved Aizawa since I saw him pretty much, I also really like Shigaraki, I think he's really cute, but Aizawa is bae, love of my life
Hawks is a good choice! honestly my usual type (like a lot now that I think about it) but bnha just throws my usual type out, Aizawa isn't it at all but for some unknown reason I adore him, I also recently started really liking Natsuo, Todoroki's older brother besides Dabi, friends think it's because he told off Endeavour, and I'm not going to disagree that that isn't a bit of it-

Ohhhh nice! I'm actually still in season 3 too xD And omigosh yas Shigi. I used to be like "meh I'm not sure I'd see myself simping him" and then my friends came and changed my mind lmao. Now I just feel really sad for him cuz of his childhood and having to go to All For One as a father figure (I don't trust him with the chapped beannn xD). Oh yeah Natsuo. I heard about him telling off Endeavour tho I haven't seen that part yet but heck yus props to him for standing up to him xD-
I did get him! after like only 70 rolls actually! which isn't even anywhere near a guaranteed five star! I was so happy! I still am!
I would recommend it! but I don't know what games you are into, it's got real time combat, and is a gacha game, so you have to roll for characters, they also recently added "hangouts" for particular characters (Diona, Noelle, Barbara, Bennett, and Chongyun) and a kind of hub home? that you can customize!
We just finished the Overhaul/Eri arc about two days ago actually! which means we're 14 episodes into season 4, coming up on Hawks and Mirko!
I just really like Natsuo for some reason, him yelling at his dad that he just now found out Shoto's favorite food was just...did something to me XD-

A gacha game like you have to roll for characters! I don't know what gacha life is but gacha like a gacha machine! which is like a gumball machine but you get toys out of them, a gacha game is a game where you have to spend something (in Genshin's case a wish) to get a random "pull", like spending a quarter for a random colored gumball
We're like three episodes out of finishing what's currently out, Hawks and Endeavour bit was...pretty fun, Hawks' little baby bird wings make me happy for some reason
Natsuo just finding out Shoto's favorite food! because Endeavour never let them really be around each other! and Natsuo was pissed that Endeavour didn't let him be around his little brother! I love Natsuo

yeah, they're real famous in Japan! so there are a lot of those machines' and games, any game you do a random "pull" in for things has gacha elements/is a gacha game, and a lot of mobile games tend to use that style, Genshin Impact is a real popular one, and Yokai Watch has gacha elements, I don't play a lot of them in particular, but I play Genshin a lot, to the point I am comfortable spending money for some pulls

Endeavour is a terrible parent, who didn't do much with Natsuo or Fuyumi because of their lack of fire quirks, he never really paid attention to either of them I'm pretty sure
(it's getting better, but he still have intense anxiety about it, and a lot of things have been going downhill since it happened, so I'm really on edge lately, sorry)-
Ohhh yeah I've honestly always wanted to go to a Japanese arcade lol xD Those sound like fun! I might play Genshin Impact sometime soon too since I recently installed it to see why a friend was getting an error to install it cuz of missing files. Ohhh yeah I actually didn't think about that until now. Oddly, anytime I look at wings, I always picture the structure of the bones to analyze how they're drawn based on what it could be represented by in sketches/stick figure sketches. Now those are some strong feathers xDD
Ahh.. And geez yeah. I try not to say anything bad about Rei because of what she's already been through regarding Endeavor but I was still shocked when I heard about her doing that to him.. QwQ Endeavor's a dick of a dad in general. I can't even imagine having to go through all that with parents and not being able to hang with your siblings and have their love at least Q_Q

Todoroki parents are a no in general, Rei doesn't get a pass to abuse her young son because she was abused, we don't like either of them in this house, but I understand why Shoto doesn't blame his mother, but I also would wholly understand if he did

Animal quirks just tickle some sort of fancy in me, for some unknown reason, so I think about them a lot, how they work, etc. how much does a animal mutation quirk affect the nature of someone? what's the difference of say, Keigo's or Rumi's level of mutation vrs Gang Orca's or Selkie's? I personally have landed on that the more animal you are on the outside, the less animal you are on the inside, just for contrast's sake, Hawks and Mirko are gonna have the nature of birds and rabbits way more than Gang Orca and Selkie are going to have the nature of whales and seals, but that's just me and has no base in canon, Selkie and Gang Orca do have animal natures, but a lot less than Hawks or Mirko, who will go on bird and bunny depending on the situation, like Mirko will full on puff and stomp when irritated.
I do get it, but I really don't like either of Shoto's parents, both of them were abusive, and while I recognize that Endeavor is now "trying" to be better, he was still terrible to his children and I personally am not going to forgive him, throw the whole man out, I understand Fuyumi just wants their family to get along, but also Endeavor really screwed his kids up, like a lot, and Rei also abusing Shoto didn't help

Omg yes! That's one of the things that really interests me about characters with animal quirks (well aside from the fact that it's of an animal lol). That theory on the contrast of what level of animalistic behaviors they display based on how much the animal side is seen in their appearance is a really good one tho :0
I really gotta keep an eye open for that and observe while I'm watching xD I'm still on Season 2 rn since I've been too busy with assignments to watch anime much TwTGahh yeah understandable. I really don't trust Endeavor either after all he put them through. I'll be kinda glad if that arc ends off on a note where he understands they'll never forgive him for it and carry on just trying to be a better father from now on rather than expect them to forgive him since I feel like that'd probably be a more realistic reaction (and very understandable as well) just from how I think I would feel in that situation.

Don't worry about it! personally I've been moving for the last several months, we've been unpacking, so I've had absolutely no extra brain power! (and some personal stuff the last few days, ick, I've been all over the place, have absolutely not logged in)
I'm still very interested in the animal quirks! they're very fun, and this is still my personal view, I have a bat quirk fc and a dog quirk fc that fall into these, etc. a fox quick fc as well, but I think I only had her the last time I commented on this? anyway, my bat looks more bat like, and acts less bat like than my dog, who acts like a giant puppy, literally tackles his love interests~ I honestly didn't do it on purpose, the dog fc came to me in a dream, along with his boyfriend, they just so happen to fit my view XD
Especially with the whole Dabi thing, I just don't think Shoto or Natsuo could forgive him (or Fuyumi, but she's really pushing because she feels they should) Endeavor is a grown man and he still did this to them, there is no "he's better now! he didn't know any better!" etc. he decided to torment his family, abuse his wife and children, to the point he thinks one of them killed themselves, and yet he still kept going, he deserves it if he doesn't get any in in any of his children's lives

Awww that's actually adorable about both FCs! And also awesome that they came from a dream xD I actually don't really have my own FCs for MHA yet since for fandoms, I usually just use my main OC and alter some things about her or her story a bit to fit within that media's canon. Hence mine in MHA was originally supposed to have a different quirk or 2 quirks that work together (like Shoto with the Fire + Ice) but I eventually figured it'd make more sense to give her a Wolf quirk xD Although I'm still conflicted between that one or a shapeshifting quirk so for now I just have more than one version of her xD
Oh god yeah I get Dabi's a villain now and seems like a heartless one to people but I do still feel really bad for him in the way Endeavor treated him too and worse yet, not seeming to be that bothered about the fact that he's believed to be dead as a result. I get people wanting to give Endeavor a chance but I feel Shoto's refusal. Cuz like nahhh it's gonna be hard to forgive someone for that. Hell that's kinda how I felt venting a couple of years back about a situation with my mom in a small MHA server/friend group and someone kept tryina encourage me to forgive her, give her a hug and tell her I love her despite me telling him the previous history of events and why it wouldn't work. Internally, I was like "Boiii did you not learn from Shoto's situation?" but I obviously didn't say that to him out loud lol. Tho back to the context of MHA, it's just understandable if they all wanna cut him out of their lives. He can try to repair the situation if he wants, but it's really unlikely to work at this point.

I just end up making a lot of fcs usually, for bnha I only really had a handful until one of my friends got into it, I didn't really pay much heed to the student characters, so I just had my main fc, her family (ex-husband, son, cat) and the fox character, and then my friend convinced me to make a student character to be best friends with their character, and it just got out of hand from there XD
and they're completely valid for not forgiving him! Endeavor knew what he was doing, he doesn't really have an excuse for what he did, he was a grown man, and he was their father, he was supposed to protect them, and he refused, you don't get to do what you want to your kids just because they're your kids, they're people and have just as much a right to free will, happiness, etc. as you do, Endeavor. like even a child abusing someone else still doesn't have to be forgiven, it's on the terms of the offended party to decide if they want anything to do with their abuser anymore, not the abuser who gets to decide, he can ask for forgiveness all he wants, but he did things that are inexcusable, and no one has to forgive him for that
I'm sorry about your mom btw, no one ever deserves to be hurt, especially by their parent, whose job it is to protect their child

Ahh exactlyyy. That and even if he wants to use the excuse of being tough on them to make them stronger, that's still a pretty shit way of doing it. Yeah it can work at least in anime but there are better ways to get the same effects without legit scarring them for life.
Also it's ok. Thankfully it looks like she stopped with the physical part of it nowadays. She was actually a really awesome person when I was a kid and yh the behavior afterwards kinda mirrored onto her from my dad (ironic to the topic of Shoto's dad and by effect, his mom's behavior. Albeit not the same way xd)

I love all my characters, my friends and I like making our characters have relationships (friendships, couples, etc.) and it's always super fun! I just like making whatever suits my fancy or whatever my brain supplies, which is sometimes all over the place, I have characters who are goddamn terrible, just because my brain said "oh! how about this!"
I'm glad she's at least stopped physical stuff, like still bad, one of my favorite quotes is "it's not an excuse, it's just an explanation of what happened." and I find it's so true all the time, like sure, other people can be hurt, but that doesn't excuse them hurting people themselves, least of all their own children, like Shoto's mom, yes, Endeavour hurt her, but that does not excuse her hurting Shoto, she's still wrong for hurting him, fueled by Endevour's abuse or not
