say hello to iliya: aywas silver custom version! mr. iliya rurik russo, my friends. i made him a few years ago on souls as one of my earlier characters that i brought in at a fresh two months old under the guardianship of his adopted father, adrian instinsky, who, to save him from the slavery his own blood uncle sold him into, bought him. he's one of my many, many... many children of rurik russo and sie even let me name him right after his daddy.

non-related to iliya, anyone who knows me well enough should know i have a bias fondness for the name rurik because i have another character under that name, one of my oldest myth characters.

i played him for an impressive 20+ posts before i died off, but i sure did adore him and had a lot of fun playing him with his half bro and character of my first and oldest souls friend, j, mars bartholomew russo. and had a ton of fun rping papa adrian with another friend's character, ashbrooke, who made papa adrian happy in his loins and heart. iliya knew he was gay before he even did.

ah, but iliya's a blast. i designed his personality around the word and meaning of "eccentric" near entirely. his whole complex character comes from that one inspirational word. he doesn't speak a lick of english--and wont when i bring him back to souls in the future!-- he dresses as he pleases so therefore he comes up with some weird(but still stylish) outfits, he loves to sing so will randomly break out into vikas(his voice!) songs like a disney movie, can be considered rather flamboyantly gay but not in the sense that he's so flaming he makes a girl look like a man, is incredibly friendly and is just all-around a fun, sweet russian man who's totally not like yer typical russians. therefore i'm pretty sure most russians would dislike him and consider him as batshit crazy as they come.

ok i'll stop rambling again. i didn't play iliya much for long but he sure is still one of my babies because i love the russo family and i got my own custom russo that i got to name after his dad, who i loved, so i'm super attached to him. he's another one of those "i feel super lucky to have this char because of my undying borderline psychotic love for the family" babies of mine~ <3

oh wait! i went on a fucking tangent about souls iliya when i mentioned earlier that this is the aywas silver custom edition. so yeah um. i believe i named iliya after this custom i was designing on aywas, waaaayy back in the day several years ago some time after i first joined, and he was gonna be(and still is when i finally go commission a silver artist for him but i've been scared off from it for years cause it's my first silver custom and i don't wanna fuck it up) my very first silver custom. he was designed WAY before they had the silver artist feature where you can pick artists to draw yer pre-designed silver custom an amazing picture when you buy a silver custom crystal. if you play aywas you can clearly see where his inspiration derived from! he's a chris-design hybrid inspired by the lunaris(the breed also my account/lunaris in the link heh) and the cheetah quetzal(to this day one of my top favorite pet colorations). his overall anatomical design was planned and worked out LONG before his coloration, which actually wasn't done or even experimented on until i made 'souls iliya. so he's got the same markings, just different color scheme. which i might change, the purple never has sat right with me, so i'll be experimenting with with colors and see what looks good on him. if all else fails i can just take the colors off his souls design cause those are nice too~

okay NOW done. nobody will read that and this purple dragon thing will forever remain an enigmatic mystery to all my followers..... how ~~~~`mysterious~~~ he is <3
