There was a knock - and it was NOT the password knock - so the speakeasy's two protectors get ready to gun down the next person to burst through that door. Most of the patrons go along with their business - drinking to forget life. The bartender, though.. recognizes some shit is about to go down. Likely the person, or people on the other side of the door, are law officers, or a competing criminal organization set on taking down this underground dive.
