It's a concept for my pre-production class. I really wanted to go with the first one--- I liked how dynamic it was. However, it wasn't showing the profile of the character enough, and his head in the first one wasn't revealing enough, for a conceptual piece that 'revealed' a character. The whole bottom half of his skull was hidden--- and it was decided, that since this was a herbivorous creature, it should have horns (not the long ears it originally had.) So it was switched up to reveal more of the antlers and skull. :)
