Okay, it’s been a week since my first entry into the development journal for this comic of mine. So, here is entry #2.

Well, I went through 3 plot changes and re-writes, trying to make the story simple and fun. It took some brainstorming, but I got a plot finalized for the story. Currently I have 11 comic strips wrote out and once I have at least 55 comic strips wrote, I can then start drawing the comic. The only problem I’m having with the writing as of now is that the comic is mostly story driven and not as humor based like I originally intended. So some tweaking to the comic scripts to infuse humor may need to be applied… I’ll see how things go.

I’m still on the fence about the art style that I’ll be drawing the comic in. The stick figure style is super tempting, but I know that a fully fledged cartoon style would be more appealing to the masses. For some reason though, something about this stick figure style of mine seems fitting to the comic… I may have to put an image up here soon and have you guys and gals out there help me to choose what style looks like it would work the best. I’ll give it a bit more time before I decide what I’ll do.

Well, I chose a launch date for the comic. “Cow Curse” will be launching on March 3rd of this year. I wanted to push the launch date to January 1st of next year, but I feel that I will never bring this project to launch if I have all the time in the world.

I almost forgot! I designed up a logo for the comic and decided to set the comic as “mature” rated so I can be safe in the long run. Sometimes I like to get a little mature with my humor and artwork, so, I figured I’d mark the comic as mature, even though the comic will primarily be rated around “teen+”.

Other than all of that, I believe I’ve covered most of the development progress I’ve made since the last journal entry.
