The Ion Brothers by Corinth

The Ion Brothers

Corinth

Once upon a time and place, a powerful Guardian God by the name of Xixxiiix Ion the Forbidden Destiny, with the help of his consort, Eeum Ion the Lifestring of Fate, created three eggs using their own essence. Storing the eggs in suspended time in a place known as the End of Time, where the very next second spells the end of all existence for all eternity, the eggs were seperated by interfering species dabbling in the forbidden art of time travel and species abduction.

Oblivious to the fact they essentially kidnapped living deities, the three hatched and displayed impressive characteristics and intelligence that impressed the researchers, who wanted to experiment on them further. Due to a mishap on one of the test subjects (who happened to complete the rite of bonding friendship with the eldest of the brothers the day before) which resulted in death, the eldest brother awakened his powers as a deity and in a rage wiped the entire race and civilization off the passage of time. The massive disruption of balance caught the attention of both Xixxiiix and Eeum, who found all three of their children safe and sound, giving them refuge.

The three brothers from oldest to the youngest are as follows:

Xirevius Ion the Eternal Project. The oldest and most stoic of the trio. When his god powers awakened he could travel through time and effectively meddle with it. He could also manipulate the flow of time by freezing it, slowing it down or speeding it up. His wings are made of some sort of plasma that could produce crackling electricity, or disperse into the air and disrupt magnetic flow. For that reason he usually wears his wing armor over them when going near sentient mortal races. He could be described as a Fishbirddragon.

Vredd Ion The King of Knowledge. The middle brother whose powers involve the ability to travel between parallel dimensions. Given the fact that the number of worlds is growing whilst time is finite, Vredd overtook Xirevius in terms of intelligence, hoarding his knowledge in his personal pocket dimension. It was rumored that he was spotted by a mortal race at one point and since then the term "dragon" appeared in chronicles for many generations to come, which depicts said dragons the very same way that had been used to describe him, and his hoarding habits. Due to much excessive reading, his eyes became very short sighted (1,000,000 each side) and was forced to wear glasses.

Xaphiros Ion the Dark Demiser. The youngest of the three but also the most battle hungry. He is yet to awaken his god powers, but despite his disadvantage against his brothers, he was an absolute beast if he were to duel them with a power restriction. Other mortal races don't stand a chance either no matter how superior the race thinks they are. Xaph's "wings" are made of a gaseous substance which crystalizes when agitated. He could use those wings for autonomous attacks or defense, but his most preferred style of combat involves dual wielding a firearm and a bladed weapon.
