This is a rough sketch I did yesterday, but didn't get a chance to upload. This sketch represents my ideas for the type of clothing Bladewind would wear when out exploring/hunting, as well as her markings. I didn't bother to draw her head, wings, or tail in their entirety b/c I didn't think it was necessary to convey the information I'm targeting. I hope you can read my handwriting! Inked in Manga Studio 5 and colored in Photoshop CS5.

I like this outfit. I like accented clothing like this, that is, lots of strings holdings pieces on. Not solid garments but pieces that are almost like jewelry but they have more surface area to them than jewelry.

Thanks. I was looking at some of the shawls women in Africa wear and thought I could run with it. There are still adjustments I need to make to her top, but I'm fairly happy with the bottom :)

I love to see artists develop clothing and accessories that fit with characters of unusual physiological characteristics. I think you did an excellent job with this design (and no, your handwriting is just fine!).
