This is killing me with awesome. What is that, kinda Japanese (not up on which century) inspired armor with a bit of a 16th century western feel thrown in? And I'm just boggles adores over the reptilian-to-feathered-but-kinda-like-fish like these guys http://life-sea.blogspot.com.au/2011/07/life-of-red-lionfish.html Also draconic body armor that works/makes sense. I can see a synthesis between equestrian and human articulated plate. Just very very cool!

Hehe - thank you! I kind of pulled from all over the place to make the armor. A lot of inspiration came from the Final Fantasy series, which also tends to yield characters with over-the-top armor with different cultural influences. I never thought of a lionfish when drawing this - but you are right, they are fish-like features in this character in that regard. I have no idea if this character could actually fly or anything, but it was fun to draw!
