Maybe I'm just lucky or something, but I have never thrown up from being drunk, black-out or otherwise. Maybe it's just a convenient story device to show to the reader exactly how drunk a character is?

  I have seen people throw up while drunk, and I have almost done it myself. I can assure you it happens and its not fun for everyone involved

      it depends on how strong your stomach is and if you've eaten as well honestly. Most of my experiences have been from little get togethers and shit. Drunk rednecks.

        At my last college party, a girl was passed out with her head on my lap. She coughed, and I thought nothing of it. Apparently she'd vomited just then. I didn't care much because none of it hit me. Also I was drunk. And high. And lazy.
