Ko-fi comm for samuraipudding, of Jervis Tetch/The Mad Hatter from the Batman Animated series. Sadly both the camera and scanner ate the reds I used, so a lot of the subtlety in the skin and rabbit fur was lost, but I'm still pretty pleased with it.

Mostly just the rabbit and the face had some soft pinks added in for liveliness because I was in the zone and forgot about the Red Problem since it had been a bit. Rabbit's shading had some warmer lavender and pink bits and the skin (especially around the nose, cheeks, fingers, and ears) was a bit warmer than in the scan, and the layer of cool pink I'd added to the coat to make it closer to the deep indigo of the screenshots was entirely lost.
As far as I can tell fixing this would require a pretty expensive investment in order to get a dedicated scanner or new camera that was able to pick up on reds properly, and even then unless something's changed dramatically in the past couple of years it's still very hard and pricey to get a digital camera to properly pick up reds.

It used to be equipment like that you're describing was cheap or slightly to moderately expensive. Now it costs an arm and a leg, your immortal soul, your firstborn child, the memories everyone has of you,the sacrifice of a universe, and $3.50!

Were the camera and scanner developed by Marceline the Vampire Queen? It's a well-done piece, but now you've me intrigued about how it originally looked.
