Do you ever have one of those artworks that just goes perfectly smoothly from start to finish? This was one of those for me. For once I just saw it really clearly in my mind, actually sketched it right on the first try, then went from uncolored to colored without any major trouble. It didn't take too long, either. I sketched it one morning, began painting it while waiting for a freelance client to respond back, then finished it during my next morning warm-up.

And this should go without saying in this day and age, but don't smoke, kids (and adults)! This raven's so sad because he knows his smoking habit is increasing his likelihood of developing lung cancer or emphysema. And he's harming everyone around him with secondhand smoke. :(
