Sign language is a neat idea. I always wanted to learn but well, never really set aside the time. I don't know anyone that knows it anyway.

I think compared to other languages, it's relatively easy to learn! If you have constant exposure to it, anyway. Without a friend to speak it with constantly, I can feel it seeping out of my brain...

I just stumbled on this randomly on the front page. The sign language idea is genius! It makes the characters look more lively even if the reader doesn't recognize it for what it is. Really neat idea. :>

I can't take full credit for that! I have a deaf friend on whose tumblr I discovered people engaging in a deaf/HOH/ASL-using headcanon for Undertale. I thought it was neat! My friend even drew gifs of the main characters signing the names he gave them.

This gave me a nice giggle. I always thought the sign language interpretation was neat (though I personally don't go that route myself).
