It's interesting to me that symbolically, fall is usually 'death' and spring is usually 'rebirth,' but I get a totally flipped feel of that from this and the Fall drawing. Here, Spring is clearly sad, and the flowers almost feel like a facade; especially with the decaying-skeleton feel underneath, this feels much more strongly of death and sadness than the Fall piece. Fall, on the other hand, something about the hands that look like they're crawling out of the 'face' region feels more like a rebirth piece.

(Or I could be awful at art interpretation and making things up. ;) )
