the memmories these cuts contain are of a broken past

a knife to dig out all the rain,

and bring the sun at last

a row of scars to prove my life,

a bitter stay in hell

eternal night shall cover me,

a pain i know to well.

the nightmares come and drown the sun,

i am once more alone.

and as i cry the stars collide,

but i no longer have a home.

the darkness floods my wretched soul,

and fills my lungs with smoke.

and acidic shadows flood my heart,

and on my sins i choke.

the sorrows fill the last of me

all light has now been taken,

and as the curtain falls at last,

even the dead are shaken.

awakened in the midst of pain,

i am a broken shell.

trapped inside a nightmare buried deep within my hell.
