Been a prety long time since I've drawn this character, not counting a painting of which I didn't like the end result anyway.
Here I wanted to experiment with textures, so this resulted, giving the background a slight paper texture, to his body a rice paper texture and to his clothes a cotton one, but metal had no texture at all being polished materials. It was a very simple one.

If anything....back in 2010 when I first created the character probably I based myself on the kind of guy I would totally fall for... but whom I simply could never talk because my tongue would knot itself out of shyness xwx. Also he comes from the dropped comic I was planning called "city of lights" which I might completelly reboot with short stories and a diferent name, but this character is definitivelly having a lot of development.
