-Girls have slimmer legs and tails and shorter wings

-Live up to 1000 years, don't show any signs of aging past young adulthood
-The gems are priceless, therefore they are hunted many if times
-If they lose all of the gems they die, so its more dangerous for ones with only a few, and they only appear on the face
