Catatonic by Chewbacca

Catatonic

Chewbacca

A portrait of my beloved c: Sake'
This is a one layer painting (except for the whiskers) and was very challenging.
Will probably update it here and there for some touch-ups. But for now. I'm tired.
I wanted to abstract to play roll of the activity eroding in his mind, body and soul.
As the visuals are intense in the mind, your body experiences feelings and senses your body has never felt before, as your soul is cleansed and renewed to a different outlook in life.

The gradients in this picture made me think "they totally locked the opacity and played with the colours" but noOOOOpe, one layer. That is so much more impressive considering.... You really must know colour.
