Brandine entered her home, exhausted from the day’s work. Being a lifeguard at a pool frequented by little kids was extremely annoying, yet it was still the job she decided to have. Returning to her mansion for the weekend was a relief, knowing she was able to relax for a couple days before going back to her routine.
Brandine was a canine covered in mostly beige fur, with no real patterns anywhere. She was a simple canine in appearance, and that was something she liked about herself. She tossed her attire to the side, leaving on her swimsuit as she went towards her backyard pool for some swim time on her own. When she reached the pool, though, a certain activity popped into her mind.
She remembered a certain air tank she left in her shed, along with a hose that had been used many times before. When she opened the doors to said shed, the tank was where she remembered it being, as well as the hose on a nearby shelf.
Within a few minutes, she was sitting on the edge of her pool, having gulped down the hose enough for it to reach her stomach, and her hand was on the valve to turn it on. A single rotation of the wheel on the top of the tank resulted in a hissing sound, followed by a pressure in her belly as she felt somewhat full, being pumped up with air.
As her belly began to expand, she put the tank under one arm and dipped herself into the water, quickly bobbing back to the surface due to the air filling her. All that was left to do for her was to relax and let the air fill her up, her belly rounding out more and more.
By the time her belly reached a foot outwards, her chest had started inflating as well, turning her middle into one big dome full of air. Even her sides started expanding, the air finding any place it could to get into. The feeling of Brandine’s skin stretching in every direction caused it to tingle in a satisfying way. She loved inflating herself every so often for this reason, and this was no exception. In fact, her floating atop the water was causing more air to fill into her belly and chest than anywhere else, and that only increased the feeling of pressure within her.
She let go of the air tank, letting it bob off to the side in the water as she kept inflating. Her arms and legs started to puff up along with everything else, slowly becoming rigid as they stuck out to her sides. They eventually looked more like domes than anything else on her spherical middle, with her hands and feet slowly being sucked down into said domes.
The only thing to shake her out of her slight daze was the sound of tearing as her swimsuit burst apart, falling off of her almost-spherical form in a few pieces. It was at this point that she realized how big she was getting, and instinctively tried to reach the air tank to turn it off. The car-sized canine’s attempts all failed, however, and she was stuck to keep growing bigger and bigger, bobbing along on the water.
Her hide started to creak and groan, getting taut as it stretched to a rather extreme degree. Brandine winced, worrying she’d pop if the air tank didn’t stop soon, but to her relief, stopping was exactly what it did as she felt herself slowly stop inflating. It took some effort to manage it, but soon Brandine was able to cough up the hose and spit it out, leaving her untethered to float in her own pool. She didn’t intend for this to be how she relaxed right after an exhausting week, but in the end she guessed it was better than anything else she had planned…
