Gooey Dragons Make Dragons Gooey - by IF & Cyril

I've stated it many times before, but it's always worth stating again: Mizuko is quite the resourceful water-type. Every Vaporeon can be, really; their universal ability to melt and disappear into water is a powerful one. While many water-type Pokemon are quite adept with their element, few can dream of literally simplifying into and out of that base element at will. But as has been made clear time and time again, Mizuko uses this power to explore many more avenues than the average Vaporeon can even dream of trying. Water IS such a prevalent element in life, after all...

There was one particular avenue that the fat Vappy had used for quite a long time...but had struggled to truly master. You see - his den is quite a sprawling, open cavern, as it was once owned by a Dragonite - before he bested it, and chased it off. But a dragon's den is quite prime real-estate in the wild...when it's without a dragon present in it, at least. Mizzy knew that unless he did something, he'd have other Pokemon trying to oust him from his new home day after day.

But what if was thought that the dragon had never left? Why, then, everyone would keep staying away, wouldn't they now?

And so Mizuko practiced a new trick... Melting into a nearby river, he allowed the flowing waters to mesh with his 'personal' water...reforming himself, but with that foreign water spread amongst his body. It was not easy to morph water that was not originally part of him; but slowly, he managed to solidify it as well as himself... His form grew fatter, larger...as he shaped his body into a new shape. Two legged...a thicker snout...plump antennae...and...fin-like wings...!

It was a very shoddy new look at first, and quite difficult to even step around in - the foreign water felt quite 'numb' - but, it served his purposes. But every week he would take on the extra water, shape up this form, loudly stomp outside his cavern, and ROAR out a draconic bellow! Yes, the Dragonite DID still own this cave, forest! Dare to come near, and you WILL be sorry! Never mind the fact he was quite the Vaporeon-looking 'Dragonite'; the cocky announcements did the trick quite well on the surrounding population of Pokemon, who never dared coming within a half-mile of the cavern.

And naturally, with repetition comes mastery. Mizzy's 'Vaporeonite' form grew sharper, more refined, more coordinated as he used it each week...until the water he took on felt just as natural as any of his own water. He was no longer a paper-thin imitator who only LOOKED the part of a dragon... When he wanted to be...he WAS a dragon! A dragon-Vappy, the best sort of dragon there was!

But - how could the Vaporeonite prove that if all he used the form for was visual intimidation? No...he needed to try something more. He needed to HUNT...another dragon~ So one day, after another morning of roaring and stomping...Mizuko did not turn back into his cave to undress his draconic look like he always had before. Instead, he lumbered out, licking his lips with a thick dragony tongue and his fin-like wings giving an eager flap. It was time for breakfast!

It wasn't going to be a difficult search. He had heard the local Pokemon speak of 'another dragon-type' recently; he always kept an ear-fin open to such news, in case his dragon den looked appealing to such a newcomer. But this new drake had found a home in the nearby mountain range - a craggy, dry place that never appealed to the Vaporeon in the first place. He had been content to leave this fellow alone...until his new decision, anyways~

Mizzy took little time to find this cavern; it never was hard to find a dragon's home, as they had no reason to hide themselves. The cavern was quite rocky and rough as the Vaporeonite entered it, stepping as quietly as his massive feet could manage, searching into the darker portions... Ever-cautious, the Vaporeonite still took a moment to grinned smug; this den really had nothing on his own.

Soon, the water-dragon had found his mark. It was the best situation he could have hoped for. Not only was his meal currently at home...but also, a bit of a late-sleeper. It wasn't THAT early in the morning, but the red-black-tan mass snoring deeply on the dirt clearly didn't get that memo. Mizuko took a moment to inspect his meal, stepping around the creature carefully. It was clearly a dragon-type, though more of the eastern ilk; the scaled underbelly and long frame attested to that. But at the same time, all that fluffy fur, perky ears, the warm colors, and those markings...it reminded him of a Spinda, distantly...panda-like, for sure...a red, panda? How odd...a red panda dragon.

Well - the Vaporeonite wasn't about to scoff at eating a dragon-hybrid. He was a hybrid himself, so it only seemed fair.

Not that he was interested in a fair fight or anything, of course. The water-drake sat down in front of the panda-dragon's head, his forepaws slowly easing under those fluffy arms...and, lifting... This dragon WAS a deep-sleeper; he didn't even rouse as Mizzy sat him upright, letting the furry drake flop against his wet, rotund gut... The Vaporeonite opened his jaws and flopped out his tongue, a comfortable carpet for the panda-dragon's chin as that fuzzy face sunk into his chops. Mizuko dared not swallow as he lifted his prey up, keeping his throat wide and loose as he gently glomped over the dozing drake's shoulders...arms...chest... His gullet rumbled with those loud, muffled snores, the Vappy-drake stifling a chuckle at the tickle it caused.

But when Mizzy reached his meal's belly...he quickly learned another reason why the panda-dragon was sleeping so deeply. That black-scaled gut was hard to see in the dim cavern light, and until now, the Vaporeonite had not observed how bloated and bulged it was...and, still weakly squirming. It seemed that the fluffy eastern was in a bit of a food coma...and was himself no slouch when it came to gorging whole on hapless prey.

Shame, then, that such voraciousness did not put one on top of the food chain...

Mizuko lapped carefully over that belly, squishing and teasing the meals inside of it as he grabbed the other drake's rear, a much more firm grip than his previous paw-holds. Such a distended belly would only go easily...with the right amount of...FORCE! The Vaporeonite couldn't help but GROWL as he CRAMMED that thick gut past his jaws, copious amounts of drool slickening those scales and hastening the slide...! By the time the water-dragon's lips had met his meal's waist, said meal had finally snapped into consciousness. The rude awakening was inevitable, really; but Mizzy was already half-done with his breakfast, and had already begun to swallow and squeeze down on his meal by the time the fluffy dragon could begin to struggle! The panda-drake's red-and-black feet thrashed powerfully against the Vaporeonite, thick claws attempting to tear and scratch and fight off the unknown captor... But to no avail; Mizuko merely allowed his shoulders, belly, and wherever else the meal managed to kick to melt and re-solidify in the blink of an eye, causing those claws to simply swish harmlessly through water.

All the while, the water-dragon continued to swallow...soon, leaning back and raising up his head. The meal's kicks soon faltered as it was clear the attacks had done nothing, and in fact, were now just propelling him downwards into his predator's jaws! Too bad it didn't matter anyways. With those legs stilled, Mizuko easily clutched around their ankles; a good replacement-leverage, since the pandragon's tush had been long-ago devoured!

Soon, the Vaporeonite had slurped up those wriggling feet, teasing his tongue along the nullified claws that had at once tried to injure him. Mizuko slowly rose to two feet as he swallowed down those thick, padded paws...his forepaws resting under his absolutely ENGORGED blue gut, helping prop up the distended, swaying weight as he stood. He wasn't QUITE done with his meal; that eastern-length and quite-thick dragon-tail still demanded swallowing. But...fast as it could bend and sway, both of them knew that it could do no significant harm to the predator.

Mizzy closed his eyes in a satisfied grin; he had won. He had PROVEN he was the SUPERIOR drake! Even though his draconic lineage had literally been fabricated, he couldn't help but feel a draconic pride...a cocky, powerful feeling, like he was on top of the world! Well - because he was, clearly! The water-dragon slowly chewed and gradually swallowed at that long, flavorful tail...the mix of fur and scales upon it being like an enjoyable two-course treat. All the while...his huge belly flopped and jiggled, gurgling and groaning actively around the large, hearty breakfast. As one would figure from a 'water-bending' Vappy, Mizuko could control his digestive acids just as well as any other liquid, and was quite quick to slosh and churn them around the meal...passionately showing just how strong he was!

That tasty tail wriggled more and more weakly as Mizuko slurped it past his lips. His once-thrashing belly had entirely stilled by the time he swallowed the tail-tip, the many bulges already beginning to subdue into slick-skinned softness... The Vaporeonite licked his lips as he swayed his weight, slowly strolling out of the cavern. He stood on the small plateau outside the entrance, well-in-view of the mountain-dwelling Pokemon in the area as he slowly parted his jaws...breathing deep, and...

"ROOOOARRRRRR-RRRURP! ...BELLLLCH!*"

Well, then. Mizuko panted, wiping a bit of saliva from his snout. The water-drake had meant that to be 'just' a triumphant bellow...but a drool-flicked, acidic belch added to the end didn't really RUIN that intention, he supposed! With that, and with his tremendous, growling gut shining in the sunlight... The local Pokemon would soon be talking about the powerful dragon-type that had bested his newcomer kin in such a brutish, hungry fashion!

Ahh, hahahah! The oncoming notoriety was already making Mizzy grin a toothy, draconic smile. Perhaps he would use this form...more often~ Yes...that sounded DELIGHTFUL...

...Gosh geez I keep writing so many big stories lately! Well...that's not bad, I guess. :3

This awesome, AWESOME picture was drawn by my pal :iconimperfectflame: and colored by also-pal :iconcyrilpanda:! Cyril also starred in this as the 'unfortunate' pandragon meal (his pandragon is adorable, seriously). Mizuko, of course, is my very own Vaporeon 'character' (though 'independent personality' is honestly a better term for the fellow!). Oh yeah, and I added all the shiny-shine to this image myself! (Soooo gooey-shiny~)

Mizuko really has endless talents, and keeps coming up with new tricks with 'em! This Vaporeonite form is formed purely by gushing more water into himself and then carefully shaping it into a Dragonite shape - kinda like a person who shapes a clay pot. Takes a lot of skill and learning, but man, that resulting body! <3 Talk about lovely, huh? It's rather interesting how these two totally-different Pokemon can look so good mixed together~

Oh, don't underestimate Mizzy. He could totally look 100% like a Dragonite if he wanted to and worked towards it. But he prefers sticking to this look, because...well, he's as proud of his Vaporeon lineage as he is of his 'created' draconic lineage. ;3 Can't really blame him, eh?

(Also I'm just gonna pat myself on the back for that palindrome title. Think that's the first time I've ever done a palindrome for a title. XD)
