This is something I drew a few months back for my wonderful friend   gonnaeatcha/Aster, as he was having a really shitty time go down in his life. I'm not often inspired to draw completely-original art just on a whim, but I felt pretty inspired to do what I could to make him feel at all better... We ghost-bros gotta stick together, after all.

I'm pretty happy with how this came out, so I'm sharing it here too. This picture is very personal...not only because I did it to help Aster, but because the posing calls back to my past as well. I used to have a dog named Lilly, who always knew when I was feeling sad, and would nuzzle into my belly just like this, lick me, and put her forepaws around my legs if I was sitting down on the ground. Doggy-hugs...they always made me feel better. And now that I'm a doggy, I can do them too. <:3
