Shaming the Shameless Charem - by l-block

Yep, the sign's accurate! I don't mind that I was told to hold it. It's not like I have any need to deny the truth, and plus, I needed something to lean on as I let that trainer settle in my gut. :3~

Oh, this is one of those Pokemon shaming scenes? Well...good luck trying to make me ashamed to fill my belly! 83

If you haven't heard of pet shaming, it's a thing where owners put signs next to their real-life pets that speak in 'first person' for the animal, expressing a thing that the pet did that is shameful. It's done not for any abuse of the animal, but more for laughs and perhaps to allow an owner to constructively vent frustration that Fido just ate $20. :P

This concept apparently got ported over to Pokemon recently, resulting in a new surge of this tweaked shaming concept: Pokemon shaming, where artists draw sad, frustrated, or sometimes perfectly-content Pokemon holding/wearing a sign expressing a shameful thing that they've done...and given how many things a Pokemon can do, it's often quite hilarious.

I caught wind of all this just yesterday, when a friend mentioned the concept in passing, and then I noticed   l-block drawing a number of these Pokemon shamings herself. I ended up musing to my Master Guan about what sort of sign a Charmeleon like me would end up having if I were shamed in the same way...

...Turns out that l-block is part psychic-type, because shortly thereafter she drew this adorable image, completely out of the blue! ^..^ The kind gesture is 100% appreciated...she clearly knows me well. <3

(This picture could easily be the sequel to this, too. XD)
