Charem

Bein' micro isn't exactly a common occurrence for a Char like me, as I usually find more interest in bein' my normal-sized, runtish Charmeleon self. :3~ Though, there are certain...advantages...to being smaller. Normally-mundane things become suddenly quite gigantic...and this applies to common culinary dishes, of course. :3~

This diminutive version of myself has already had some rather-enjoyable run-ins with a gooey pizza and a greasy breakfast, quite literally digging right into both meals with an appetite to match the comparatively-huge portions! A firelizard has no need to worry about the temperatures of such hot foods, being quite burn-proof as I am; in fact, I simply revel in the heat. <3 So of course it was time for another good meal for teeny-Charem...!

Soup is a wonderful side dish to a heavier meal, or a great main dish if you wish for a lighter -- yet still quite sloshy and filling -- dinner. The number of soup varieties are vast, as well, though I often settle on a good 'ol staple: chicken noodle soup.

Sneaking into restaurants in my micro form was something I had become quite skilled at, simply behaving a similar role to that of an opportunistic mouse, skittering about the kitchen floor and clambering up whatever serving trays caught my attention. It was under such a circumstance that I discovered a bright red bowl full of steaming, hearty chicken noodle soup, and elected to immediately dive right in! I was unafraid of a soupy swim, so long as I kept my tail draped over an outer lip of the bowl. My girth caused the liquid levels to rise and threaten to overspill the bowl, so I immediately went to work, dunking my snout into the brothy depths and gulp-gulp-gulping up a great portion of the soup -- much to the satisfaction of my belly, which bloated warmly to my efforts!

The levels lowered, I then reclined, allowing my body to float atop the surface of the meal. A few soggy noodles had draped over me, jiggling slightly as I shifted lazily, though I hardly minded. My paws had dove into the soup, and I soon fished out two meaty chunks of broth-soaked chicken, which I wasted no time cramming into my maw. Swallow-glurk! The lumps of poultry bulgily descended, not even chewed, down my gullet, and quickly filled out my belly ever further.

Next I obtained two noodles in my paws. Slippery as they tried to be, I soon trapped each over my jawline, and simply slurrrrrrped their long lengths into my mouth. I'm sure everybody knows what it's like to slurp down a particularly-long noodle, swallowing it deep into their throats and still having part of it stick from their mouths - and just how odd that can feel? For a tinymeleon, EVERY noodle was like that...and plus some! Even as the doughy lengths began to curl up in my belly, I still was working to nom the opposite ends into my snout, able to feel the whole noodles shake as my belly gurgled and churned them about...

Sighing blissfully after the noodles had disappeared, I elected to recline again, patting my growing belly and noting how much lower I floated in the soup now. I'd already gotten quite full...but there was still so much delicious soup to enjoy. Well, it wouldn't have been the first time I'd overstuffed myself...rurrrr~ <3

This was a wonderful birthday gift   slug did for me during my visit to her house. n..n We ended up chatting about the pixel avatars she often did, and I mentioned my interest in commissioning her for one in the future. To which she responded by simply pulling up Photoshop and pixeling this adorable image right up! <:3 I am not worthy! (But I sure am happy!)

I know that this image is technically perfectly visible as my avatar, but it has such intricate detail put into it that I just had to increase the size and post as an actual submission. <3 I used to be a pixel artist back in the day, and I really admire the techniques put into this!
