One nice thing about resting in the middle of a desert is that a lot of creatures will pay you no heed in such a hostile environment. For a fire-type like me, the blistering heat is of no consequence, and if anything helps me sleep better, deeper... Of course, when something DOES want to prey on me, I tend not to wake up so quickly when being sunned so wonderfully... o..o;

The Krokorok saw quite an opportunity at paw, and his ability to tunnel rather quietly through the sand only compounded his advantage. Not even his pounce, with sand flying everywhere, was heard by my sleeping self!...
