In May 2015, I actually bought a doll pattern and adapted it to Emmet. This was the result. Although it is marginally better that the other two incarnations, it is still uglier and larger than I would like. On the next incarnation, I would like to fix the fact that his arms stick straight out. We’ll see how that goes.

I'm working on it. I actually can't find a good pattern online, and I'm not quite willing to dissect any of the plushies I've bought to figure out how they were made... As I told Andrew, "each incarnation is marginally less ugly."

Maybe you can find a way to modify your Pony legs? Make them shorter? I hope you can figure it out! :D
