Here There Be Dragons by Chakat Stripedfur

'Here There be Dragons'

'Here there be Dragons' the sign simply said, with an arrow pointing to the hills, visitors must head east. "What utter nonsense" I uttered softly, thinking it must be a test of wills, "I don't intend to do that in the least."

And so I took the path to the west, thinking I was smart, and ignored the sign without care. After a few hours worth of walking, I realized with a start, I was being followed by something in the air.

I turned around to face the foe, though I hardly wanted to fight, and prepared to meet my doom. Reaching back to draw my sword, I discovered with a fright, that I no longer had the room.

I stood face to face with a scaly beast, with its claws to either side, and its head scant inches from my own. To say I was afraid is far from fact, in truth I was terrified, with a fear that went to the bone.

I gathered my thoughts inside my mind, preparing for the worst, thinking I was about to die. When all of a sudden the dragon stopped, cocking its head to the side, with a strange twinkle in its eye.

It began to smile a toothsome grin, which sent shivers down my spine, and took me in its tail. It was then that I realized, with a heart-stopping shock, that this dragon wasn't male.

She took me to her cave, and plopped me on the floor, then proceeded to get a better view. After a while she began to lick me, her tongue all hot and wet, and we did things we really shouldn't do.

That was several years ago, my friend, and I'm living here to this day. We couldn't be happier her and I, with an egg or two to our name, and three more on the way.

So even though it turned out great, and we really are a nice pair, no matter what people say. If you should ever run into the same sign, take my advice my friend, and go the other way.

This is a little humorous poem I wrote, Dr. Seuss style. x3 It contains some suggestive lines, so I marked it as 'Moderate 13+' just to be safe.
