That title is pretty much just how I feel. It was the first furry con that I didnt staff and wow is it different to be at a, granted much larger, con without having to work it. Got to see plenty of fuzzies and non-fuzzies and also missed seeing a few others.
Got to find out Chicago traffic can be even worse than its reputation. However now I know why… there is always progress with, from what I can tell, no real progress made. Seriously, half an hour to drive 7 miles? Also I wish they properly noted on the toll road site you can pay online without having to register at the discounted rate. They made it sound like you had to be in state or in one of the toll states to sign up and without signing up you would get fined at the higher rate. Grrr!
I was staying at the Aloft, a good hotel with much better accommodations than what I saw in main hotel, but at the cost of being two blocks away. This was where I was during the ‘incident’ though I wished I could have seen some of it. I wanted to see how the dog show dogs reacted to the fursuiters. What I heard was amusing.
Not going to say more on the ‘incident’ other than it was blown out of proportion and only picked up in the media because of ‘all the funny dressed up people’ that were forced outside. A few people did get sick and there was some bungling of handling it, but its kind of hard to smoothly handle something so bizarre.

So for next year I will be attending Furry Migration (seriously come to the con I staff, its fun I promise!) and Midwest Fur Fest. I have no plans to attend Anthrocon or other conventions. There are too many things I need to focus on.
Special thanks to everyone I saw that made it a fun time and sorry to a few people I did bug a bit to hang out with more. Its strange not being staff when you have time to do things other than sleep, eat, work, and say hi. Also for those I missed sorry about it, I will try extra hard next year! ^.^

What's up next?
One commission currently in progress and then I will launch the patereon for How to Milk Your Dragon 4 & 5. Need to work on Omega to make sure everything is just right before releasing it. I dont want to be one of those people that throw it out there and then end up losing money or being unable to deliver on things promised. Sorry its taking so long.
