Raw used to be the owner of a private bar, which only selective few even knew the location of (mostly pirates, outlaws and outsiders). The bar used to belong to his father, who was a carpenter and famous weapon smith. Raw inherited the bar from his father, who also thought him the art of carpentry and weapon making.
Through his years working at the bar Raw has heard many stories from his visitors and he always dreamed of one day being able to tell his own stories of the things he himself was part of.
One faithful day, Jango and Fishbone came into his bar, and accidentally started a fight when Jango tripped and fell on a table which other pirates were sitting at. They got angry and started a giant bar fight. Jango and Fishbone were able to escape the fight and were laughing at the scenery, until they noticed Raw standing behind them and looking very unhappy.

After witnessing the damage that was done to his bar through the fight, he took Jango and Fishbone and told them they will have to work for him until the damage they caused is payed off.
While working there, they have become really close and when the time came that their debt was paid off, they didn't really want to part ways, but also didn't want to speak out how they truly felt. So they thought of a brilliant idea! Jango brought Raw to their home, where Raw "accidentally" broke something "valuable". Now, Raw had a debt by Jango. To pay off his debt, he would have to join Jango's crew and would help out as a carpenter on his ship.

Raw is very calm, responsible, friendly, strict when it comes to his work and tools, loves to listen to others and is a good observer. He notices very fast when somebody is feeling unwell.
His weapon of choice is a crossbow-gun combo. He can shoot cannonballs from it, with varying effects like poison, sticky goo, scatter shards, net, etc. Harpoons can also be shot from the crossbow, which can have varying blades ranging from burning, poisonous, electric, heavy, etc.
