"We've met." by Cerulean

"We've met."

Cerulean

"What do you mean, you've met? This is Zaphod Beeblebrox from Betelgeuse Five, you know, not bloody Martin Smith from Croydon."
"I don't care; we've met, haven't we Zaphod, or should I say, Phil?"
"What?"
"You'll have to remind me, I've a terrible memory for species."
"It was at a party."
"I rather doubt it."
"Cool it, will you, Arthur?"
"A party six months ago, on Earth. England. London."
"Er..."
"Islington."
"Oh, er, that party."
"Zaphod, you don't mean to say you've been on that miserable little planet as well, do you?"
"No, of course not. Well, I may have just dropped in briefly, on my way somewhere."

Ink, marker, and color pencils. This is an illustration for the Cannon Theatre's performance of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy from the radio scripts, running March 5-14, 2021.

Thank you for depicting him more like the TV series and not Sam Rockwell (shudder).
I love his outfit. Was this what the actor wore?
Zaphod's outfit looks like the 6th Doctor went to a gay club, Ford's looks like the 7th Doctor, and Arthur looks like the 9th Doctor was woken up after 2hrs sleep. :-D

It was an audio-only performance, which is why they wanted art to accompany it. They did give us some costume guidelines so the scenes would be easy enough to follow, e.g. Arthur's dressing gown is red and Ford's jacket is brown, but the only direction for Zaphod other than the number of heads and arms was to use our imaginations on the quote "Voted Worst-Dressed Sentient Being in the Galaxy".
