This is an experiment I've wanted to do for some time now, of really focusing on just showing the the light and letting the black paper create the shadows. The whole piece is done with just one shade of cool grey. It was scary, but also very enjoyable, as the horse slowly started emerging from the shadows. This was complicated to draw and almost too much for my current lack of attention span. Nevertheless, I love the way it turned out, although the scanner did strange things again. I think I may be falling in love with the original drawing, though.
