This piece seemed like one of those ones that would be very basic with color but I found out quickly that it wasn't the case due to the lighting I wanted to use. The lighting sets the mood for this piece. She is nude because her emotions leave her naked/exposed to the world's malice from her despair.

This one sat in the scraps section for a long time as I had gotten quite frustrated with it for a while (see 'Artist Syndrome'/self loathing). Today my mood was definitely with this piece and so I ended up putting together a system to determine lighting. Thank goodness for Photoshop layers!

Created in 2006. Hopefully this isnt too "emo" for people. It came from one of those times where we get real down and realize something that makes us feel like we can never fix or overcome something.
